Rae-Yen Song lives and works in Glasgow. Through a multidisciplinary practice, Song sets about a world-building process, combining research into ancestral history, family ritual and Daoist philosophy with fantasy, critical fabulation and science fact-fiction. Song will present a solo exhibition at Tramway, Glasgow in 2025-26, and has recently exhibited solo shows at CCA, Glasgow; Aspex, Portsmouth; Quench, Margate and DCA, Dundee. Song has shown in group exhibitions at Hayward Gallery, London; Djanogly Gallery, Nottingham; Pitzhanger Manor, London; Talbot Rice, Edinburgh and Folkestone Triennial amongst many more. Their work is held in private collections, and the collection of the National Galleries of Scotland.
