Aaron Angell (b.1987, London, UK) lives and works in London. He is the founder and director of Troy Town Art Pottery hosted by Open School East, a radical and psychedelic ceramic workshop for artists founded in response to dwindling ceramics access in London, and to frustration with the established models of ceramic production. His work has been exhibited internationally, with solo exhibitions at Studio Voltaire, GoMA and Kunstverein Freiburg, and group exhibitions at Hayward Gallery, Tate St. Ives and Palais de Tokyo. His work is in the collection of Tate, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Arts Council.
